Step 1 - Understanding Event Website Settings in the Dashboard
The Event Website is a critical component of your event's success. It serves as the central hub where attendees can purchase tickets, complete their registration, and access all the key information about your event. You can customize it to include as much detail as you need, ensuring your audience stays informed and engaged.

How to Access the Event Website
The Event Website can be accessed by selecting Event Portals > Event Website from the Event Dashboard.
By default, the Event Website is automatically live once the event is created. If the Event Website is not loading or displaying a page not found error, please ensure that the Website Enabled checkbox is toggled on.
Filling out General Details for your Event
Much of the information displayed on the Event Website is pulled directly from the content you enter under General > Details.
Basic Information
Use the Event Name field to set your event’s title, and the Event Host Name field to identify the organization managing it. The Custom URL Extension field allows you to customize the end of your Event Website URL.
By default, this extension matches your Event Code, but you can update it to better fit your organization’s branding. However, please note that changing this field may cause a “Page Not Found” error unless all related links are updated accordingly. We recommend only modifying the URL extension if absolutely necessary.
Dates and Location
In this section, you can customize your event’s start and end dates and times, as well as set the timezone and location.
Contact Information
The footer of the Event Website can display contact information for attendees to reach your organization.
To update this information, go to General > Details in the Event Dashboard, then navigate to the Social and Contact section. The Event Website will display all the content listed under these respective fields. If the fields are blank, they will not appear on the Event Website.
Conclusion
Your Event Website is an important communication tool that connects your attendees to everything they need to know. By carefully completing the General > Details section, you ensure a smooth and professional experience for your audience.
