Creating a Call for Proposals or Abstracts
One of the many ways PheedLoop offers speakers to get involved with the event creation process is proposals. This feature allows prospective speakers to submit their own information for sessions which can be approved and reviewed by reviewers before being added to the sessions tab for the event dashboard.
Instead of relying on an individual to manually create all these sessions, this process empowers the speaker to share their ideas for their session. As this is still an application, a reviewer will need to examine these applications before they can be approved and added to the Event Dashboard.

Creating a Proposal Call
Calls are the application that applicants will fill out. Multiple calls can be created at once if necessary. To create a call, navigate to Proposals > Calls from the Event Dashboard and select the Create button.
Quick Tip - You only need to fill out the Name field to create a call. Consider doing this to create multiple calls quickly or finalize the details at a later date.
Understanding Submission Settings
While creating your call, you may want to tailor the experience for Proposals or Abstracts. Most customization options can be found under the Submission tab in the editor form.
Skip Steps
If you would like to skip any of the steps throughout the Call, you can toggle on the Skip Session Step, Skip Survey Step, Skip Profile Step, Skip Files Step checkboxes respectively.
Please note, the Skip Session Step should never be toggled off as this is a basic requirement for Call for Proposals and Abstracts.
Enabling these settings will hide the page on the submission portal.
Tracks, Formats, and Audiences
Tracks, Formats, and Audiences can be implemented into the call under the Session Settings section.
If enabled, users would be able to select them or be required to do so if the respective Require checkbox is toggled on. If Allow Multiple Track Selection, Allow Multiple Format Selection, or Allow Multiple Audience Selection is enabled, applicants will be able to select multiple Tracks, Formats, and Audiences as part of their application.
When a proposal with Tracks, Formats, or Audiences is accepted, these attributes will be automatically carried over to the session. If you would like to segment reviewers by specific areas of expertise, the Track feature makes it easier to assign the right reviewers to the right proposals.
