Testing the Exhibitor Application

The Exhibitor Application can be accessed in the Event Dashboard by navigating to Event Portals > Application Portals > Exhibitor Application.

You will now be redirected to the Exhibitor Application where you can begin testing it out.

Please note, once an application is started, it will populate the Event Dashboard under Exhibitors > Exhibitors.

If you would like to remove this test data, you can delete them in this page. Before test exhibitors can be removed, any purchases attached to the exhibitor must be deleted.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Exhibitors > Exhibitors
  2. Select the Exhibitor you wish to remove
  3. Navigate to the Order Summary
  4. Scroll down to Purchases
  5. Next to all purchases, select Actions > Delete Purchase

With the purchases gone, the test exhibitor can now be deleted by selecting the checkbox of the exhibitor and selecting Actions > Delete. Select Confirm to delete the exhibitor.

Enabling the Exhibitor Application

To make the Exhibitor Application available, enable Enable Exhibitor Applications. This can be found in the Event Dashboard by navigating to Exhibitors > Application Portal.

Sharing the Exhibitor Application

Event Administrators can share the Exhibitor Application URL to invite and allow exhibitors to submit their applications.

Conclusion

Thoroughly testing and properly enabling the Exhibitor Application ensures a smooth experience for both administrators and exhibitors. By following the steps to test, activate, and share the application, Event Administrators can confidently launch the application to the public and begin accepting submissions without issues.
