Step 4 - Testing, Enabling, & Sharing the Sponsor Application

Before you publicly release the Sponsor Application, it is recommended to test the application to ensure everything is working properly. This article will walk you through how to access, share, and enable the Sponsor Application for the public.

Testing the Sponsor Application

The Sponsor Application can be accessed in the Event Dashboard by navigating to Event Portals > Application Portals > Sponsor Application.

You will now be redirected to the Sponsor Application where you can begin testing it out.

Please note, once an application is started, it will populate the Event Dashboard under Sponsors > Sponsors.

If you would like to remove this test data, you can delete them in this page. Before test Sponsors can be removed, any purchases attached to the Sponsor must be deleted.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Sponsors
  2. Select the Sponsor you wish to remove
  3. Navigate to the Order Summary
  4. Scroll down to Purchases
  5. Next to all purchases, select Actions > Delete Purchase

With the purchases gone, the test Sponsor can now be deleted by selecting the checkbox of the Sponsor and selecting Actions > Delete. Select Confirm to delete the Sponsor.

Enabling the Sponsor Application

To make the Sponsor Application available, enable Enable Sponsor Applications. This can be found in the Event Dashboard by navigating to Sponsors > Application Portal.

Sharing the Sponsor Application

Event Administrators can share the Sponsor Application URL to invite and allow Sponsors to submit their applications.
