I’m an Attendee, how can I create Group Chats in the Virtual Portal?
If allowed by Event Admins, Attendees will be able to create group chats within the Virtual Portal.
Please note that the Event Admin may disable this feature—if so, you can disregard this article.
- From the Virtual Portal, navigate to Networking > Groups
- Select Create Group
Please note, this button will not be available if hidden by the Event Administrators.
- Under the Topic field, enter the title of your group
- Under the Description field, enter a brief description of your group
- Under Group Image, select Choose File to upload a profile picture for your group chat
- Toggle on the Enable Video Call checkbox if you would like to use video calling as part of your group chat.
Select Start Group
