What to Expect from Your On-Site Support Technician
When you work with PheedLoop, you have the option to include an on-site support technician as part of your event services. This technician plays a vital role in ensuring your check-in and on-site technology run smoothly. They serve as both a technical expert and a liaison, helping to bridge communication between your team, PheedLoop HQ, and the venue’s AV staff to create a reliable and stress-free experience.
Here’s what you can expect:
Travel and Accommodation
All technician travel arrangements will be coordinated by PheedLoop, with a travel fee of $1,000 charged to your team. Hotel and accommodations are to be arranged and covered by your team. Approximately six weeks before your event, we’ll reach out to reconfirm scheduling and accommodation details so we can coordinate transportation accordingly.
Check-In Support
The technician’s primary responsibility is to oversee the check-in setup. This includes setting up, refilling, and tearing down equipment such as badge printers and tablets. They are there to assist your wider team in running PheedLoop software and troubleshooting any issues.
Session Scanning and Lead Retrieval
In addition to check-in, the technician is available to support your team with session scanning logistics and lead retrieval operations.
Product Expertise & Troubleshooting
Your technician will be available to answer questions about the PheedLoop software and dashboard and provide support throughout your event. While their primary expertise is in the printing equipment, they’ll do their best to assist with dashboard-related inquiries. For more technical questions, they may need to follow up with our team to ensure you get the most accurate information.
Team Training
The technician will train your registration staff on how to operate all PheedLoop-provided equipment, ensuring your team is confident and ready to assist attendees.
On-Site Liaison
Acting as your direct line to PheedLoop HQ, the technician will coordinate with venue AV teams and other stakeholders to ensure everything runs reliably from start to finish.
