How to Arrange Your Return Shipment
Once your event has concluded, your rental period will soon conclude, and it will be time to arrange your return shipping. In this article, we'll cover how to pack your kiosks into their shipping boxes and how to arrange return shipping with UPS.
Packing your kiosks into their boxes
Please note, this section is written with the assumption that you have already packed the contents into the kiosks. For instructions on how to do this, please refer to our Packing Up Your Rented Check-in Kiosks from PheedLoop article.
After packing up your kiosks, they’ll need to be packaged within the original cardboard boxes they arrived in. Depending on your quantities ordered, you will either have single-kiosk boxes (24" x 18" x 10"), double-kiosk boxes (24" x 18" x 19"), or a mix of both.
Each box should contain 8 white foam corner cushions, to be placed inside each corner. Before packing your kiosks, begin by placing 4 foam cushions in the bottom corners, like in the picture above. Afterwards, place your kiosk inside the box. Ensure the bottom corners are locked into place with the foam like in the picture below.
Depending on whether your box is a single or double, you will either:
- Place the four remaining foam cushions on the top corners of the single kiosk
- Stack a second kiosk on top of the first and then place the four remaining foam cushions on the top corners
Please do not seal the boxes yet until you have completed all steps in this section.
The end result should be a fully-packed cardboard box, looking identical to the initial packaging upon arrival. Repeat these packing instructions until all kiosks are packed in their boxes.
Before sealing the boxes, you’ll have to prepare the boxes for shipment via UPS. One of your boxes will contain a packing slip as pictured above. Within this slip are the return shipping label(s) and return commercial invoice (ONLY provided if the event is outside of Canada).
Please take the return shipping label(s) outside of the packing slip and stick them on top of the old label(s) currently on each box (seen on the top right corner). If your event is outside of Canada, you will also be required to apply a return commercial invoice. You may rip the old commercial invoice off and affix the new packing slip in the same spot (seen on the top left corner).
Please note, all cardboard boxes will require a shipping label on the outside, but only 1 box will require a commercial invoice. Please affix the commercial invoice in the same side as the first shipping label marked 1 of X (X being the number of boxes included in the shipment). After applying all necessary labels, you may tape the boxes up.
The end result should look like the image below. By swapping the shipping labels and commercial invoice, you have ensured that the kiosks are ready for return shipment to PheedLoop at the conclusion of your event!
