Adding Custom Engagement Content to your Sessions

Third-party custom engagement content can be embedded into your sessions from the Event Dashboard. If you are planning to use third-party audience interaction platforms like Slido, then you will want to place the embed code under the Custom Engage Code field in the Event Dashboard.

Step 1 - Retrieve the embed code from your platform

The first step is to retrieve the embed code from whatever platform you are using. In most cases, your provider should have some sort of resource instructing you on how to retrieve this.

Step 2 - Add the embed code to your session

Now that you have the code copied, you can add it to your session’s Custom Engage Code field.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sessions > Sessions
2. Select the session you wish to adjust from the list
3. Scroll down to Virtual Settings and add the code under the Custom Engage Code field

4. Select Save Changes
