How can I notify Attendees of their sessions from the Event Dashboard?

If you would like to send a reminder to attendees that their session is starting soon, we recommend using our Announcements feature. This allows you to create your reminder and have it delivered to attendees who have signed up for the session.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Communications > Announcements
  2. Above the Announcements table, select Create

  3. Under the Announcement Title and Description field, enter the title and contents for your email

  4. Under Delivery, toggle on the Email Notifications Enabled or Push Notifications Enabled checkbox depending on whether your event is in-person or virtual
    1. Toggle on Allow Multiple Deliveries if you would like to send this announcement multiple times.

  5. Under Target Settings, select the session you wish to deliver notifications for under the Target Session field

  6. Select Save Changes

Now that your announcement has been created, you may send it at any time in the Event Dashboard.

  1. Select the announcement and choose Actions > Send Single Announcement for one attendee or Send Bulk Announcements for all attendees

  2. If you chose Send Single Announcement, select the attendee you wish to deliver the announcement to under the Select Attendee field, and select Send to deliver the announcement

  3. If you chose Send Bulk Announcements, review the attendees the email will be sent to and select Send to

Quick Tip - You can also have your announcements delivered automatically by adjusting the Automatic Publish Date and Automatic Publish Time fields. Please ensure the Visible checkbox is toggled off, or these settings will not work.
