Using Lead Retrieval as an Exhibitor in the Virtual Portal
Lead retrieval can be used in the Virtual Portal, allowing attendees visiting booths to send requests for information with a single click. Doing this populates the exhibiting organization's list of captured leads with that attendee's contact information, along with any optional notes the attendee submits. Exhibitors can download this information at any time via their Exhibitor Portal from the Lead Retrieval page.
As long as Lead Retrieval is added to your account, this feature will be automatically enabled in the Virtual Portal, requiring no further input on your end.
Here's how an attendee will submit their interest as a lead in the Virtual Portal:
- From the Virtual Event Portal, navigate to the Exhibit Hall section
Select the Exhibitor you wish to request information from
- Select the Request Information button
- Optionally, add a message to go along with the request
- Toggle on the Attach My Uploaded Files checkbox to include all files uploaded to their profile in the Account section of the Virtual Portal. Private files are not shared with Exhibitors. This is useful for events such as career fairs, where attendees may be submitting resumes to exhibitors/employers.
Select Submit
Once your attendees have submitted their information, exhibitors can view their information from the Exhibitor Portal.
