[outdated] Closing your PheedLoop Event

You've just officially completed your event on PheedLoop! Now what? Don't let all of that hard work go to waste. To ensure your event is seamlessly closed out, we've prepared a few best practices for you to consider. 

Extending Your Event:

  • Did you know that you may make administrative changes to your event for up to 6 months from the start date of your event? After this period, your event will enter on-demand mode which disables any administrative changes and attendee engagement features. Most event planners use this feature as a way to display on-demand content via the Virtual Event Portal. Think of it like a virtual library of content for your event for later viewing! There is no additional cost to this.
  • To upload video files if you’d like to create a video archive of your event, please use PheedLoop’s pre-recorded video feature which you can learn about here.

Disabling Event Access:

If at any time you would like to prevent attendees from accessing your event, you are able to do this in real-time via the dashboard. Please follow the instructions below based on the module you wish to disable: 

  • Virtual Portal: Using the Post-Event Re-direct URL feature, you are able to re-direct attendees who attempt to visit the Virtual Portal to another destination. Most event planners re-direct attendees to their own website. (1) Navigate to Experiences > Virtual > Settings.(2) Enter a valid website within the Post-Event Redirect URL field.
  • Event App: You can disable the app access with a simple toggle inside of the PheedLoop dashboard. 
  • (1) Navigate to Experiences > Event App > Settings (2) Toggle off Enable App Access.
  • Registration: You may disable people from buying tickets from your registration by doing the following:(1) Navigate to Registration > Tickets and click into a single ticket. (2) Toggle off the Activate Ticket feature for each ticket.
