How to Create Conditional Questions
In PheedLoop you might be familiar with our custom forms feature found within the advanced section of the dashboard. This feature is commonly used when asking a follow up question based on the respondent's answer. To avoid disrupting the flow of your form, conditional questions will only appear when the prerequisite answer is selected on the question.
When to Use Conditional Questions
Conditional questions are used when you are gathering additional information depending on the recipient's answer to a main question. You can create as many conditional questions as you please, and each one can be tied to a main question. This will help you narrow down the information you are collecting, while also making the custom form more visually appealing.
With conditional questions, question B can appear if Answer A is selected from Question A.
- Question A: Are you attending our breakfast on Thursday?
- Answer A: Yes
- Answer B: No
- Question B: If so yes - what is your t-shirt size?
- Answer A: Small
- Answer B: Medium
- Answer C: Large
