Linking External Pages in the Event Website

When you use PheedLoop, you aren’t limited to using the default pages and sections for the Event Website. Multiple custom pages can be set up through the Event Dashboard. [a][b][c] This is commonly used if you want to link a page out from the main event website such as your organization’s website or the exhibitor/sponsor application.

Creating Your Page

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Experiences > Event Website > Pages
  2. Above the Pages table, select Create
  3. Paste your URL under the External Link field
  4. Select Save Changes

A new link will now be added at the top of your Event Website.

Reordering Your Page List

You can modify the placement of this page as well by reordering pages.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Experiences > Event Website > Pages
  2. Above the Pages table, select Actions > Re-Order
  3. Drag your newly created page to wherever you want on the list
  4. Select Save

The order of the page from top to bottom will be reflected on the Event Website from left to right. For example, if you put the Register page at the top, it will appear as the first  page linked in the Header.

Testing Your Page

We recommend testing your new page to make sure everything works without a problem.

  1. From the Event Website, navigate the header
  2. Select the page link

The page link should redirect you to the URL pasted in the External Link. If there is a problem with the redirect, please check that the External Link is correct.
