Finding your Mac Address on PheedLoop Rented Printers
When connecting your Zebra ZD621 Printer, it is essential to have it connected via an ethernet cable with no password protection or splash page. It is not possible to run printers without an ethernet connection.
Most events power their on-site set up with a dedicated ethernet line from the venue. This provides the comfort and reliability of a high speed dedicated connection. We recommend an internet speed of 1.5 MB - 3 MB per second for an optimal experience.
The ethernet outlet should have no restrictions whatsoever, in particular:
- No splash page, the printer cannot render a login page
- No password
- No MAC or IP address filtering
- No firewall
We recommend consulting with the venue technician(s) to ensure these concerns are met and resolved ahead of the event start date. If the above is fulfilled but the printer is still showing up as offline on the event dashboard, a possible solution is whitelisting the printer’s Mac Address. This should grant the printer access to the internet and connect with PheedLoop’s Event Dashboard. Once found, inform the technician responsible for the venue.

Finding the mac address for the zebra printer is straightforward. Please note this is not to be confused with other MAC Addresses such as Wireless and Bluetooth.
- From the printer’s Home screen, select Menu
- Select Connection (the second button on the right of the screen)
- Select Wired
- Copy the value under Wired Mac Address
- Send this information to the on-site venue technician who is responsible for internet at your event
