Customizing the Font in your Event App

Please note, use of this feature requires the Mobile Event Application module

PheedLoop Go! offers customization capabilities for both fonts and icons for your event app. Use customization to tailor your event experience to your organization.

Please note, that while PheedLoop supports customizable fonts, most fonts are licensed by a third party and using them without a license is illegal. PheedLoop reserves the right to comply with any legal requests to remove the use of such fonts.

We recommend using fonts from open source services such as Google Fonts to avoid any legal complications.

Changing Fonts

PheedLoop offers many different fonts to choose from for your app. They can be changed at any point from the Event Dashboard.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Experiences > Mobile App > Settings
2. Scroll down to Design & Sponsorship
3. Under Font, select one of the available options
4. Select Save Changes

The new font should now appear in the Event App once the page is refreshed.

Changing Custom Fonts

Please note, if the font file used does not have any lowercase variants, all text will appear capitalized and vice versa. Ensure your font file includes lowercase letters to avoid any issues.

If your team plans to use a custom font for your event, you can upload it to the Event Dashboard to use.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Experiences > Mobile App > Settings
2. Scroll down to Design & Sponsorship
3. Under Custom Font, select Choose File to upload your icon
   1. Please note, only .ttf files are supported and need to be named in a 'FontFamilyName-FontWeightOrStyle.ttf' format. For example, OpenSans-Bold.ttf, or BungeeSpice-Regular.ttf.
4. Select Save Changes

The new should now appear in the Event App once the page is refreshed. Any custom fonts uploaded will override the current font selection. To remove your custom font, select the Trash Icon next to the Download button and select Save Changes.
