Reordering Sessions, Exhibitor and Sponsor in the Event Dashboard via the Import Tool

Sessions, Exhibitors, and Sponsors, can all be reordered in the Event Dashboard through our import feature. By downloading your existing list, you can add a new column called order_num which can rearrange your items in the Event Dashboard and the front end portals. Please note that changes may take a few minutes to apply for all front end portals.

Downloading Template

Sessions, Exhibitors, and Sponsors all follow the same instructions for downloading their respective templates.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sessions, Exhibitors, or Sponsors depending on what you need to rearrange
2. Select the download button on the top right corner of the table

The csv file will now be downloaded onto your device and can be opened with any spreadsheet program.

Using the order_num column

Once you have downloaded and opened the CSV file, you will need to navigate to the  order_num column and order the sessions in the manner you wish for them to appear. Once that’s done, you can save the file and proceed to the next step.

Uploading the file

Now that you have your updated file, you can now upload it into your Event Dashboard.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sessions, Exhibitors, or Sponsors depending on what you need to rearrange
2. Select the upload button on the top right corner of the table
3. Select Drag and drop some files here, or click to select files button to upload your file

The Event Dashboard will now be updated and respect the ordering outlined in your file. Changes will apply immediately in the Event Dashboard but changes may take a few minutes to appear for front end portals.
