Using Swoogo with PheedLoop
Please note, use of this feature requires Swoogo integration to be included in your organization’s contract. This is a paid feature, for pricing information, please reach out to sales@pheedloop.com for more information.
If your organization is making use of Swoogo, you can sync that information directly into PheedLoop.
Please note, this integration will only transfer information from Swoogo to PheedLoop. It is not possible to transfer information from PheedLoop to Swoogo.
Connecting PheedLoop to Swoogo
As long as your organization has access to their Swoogo account, it can be used to connect to PheedLoop.
- From the Event Dashboard, navigate to your email on the top right corner and select Settings
- From the settings page, navigate to Integrations on the left hand side of the page
- Scroll down to Data Integrations and under Swoogo, select Not Connected
- Under the Swoogo API Key field, enter your API Key for Swoogo
- Under the Swoogo API Secret field, enter your API Secret for Swoogo
- Select Submit
If your API information is correct, you will be connected to Swoogo. Once done, a new section will appear called Swoogo Events. Here, you can manage what events your Swoogo integration will populate information in.
- From the Same Swoogo Integration page, navigate to Swoogo Events and then Add Swoogo Event
- Under the Swoogo Event ID field, enter the six digit from your event in Swoogo
- Data from this event in Swoogo will be imported into PheedLoop’s Event Dashboard.
- Under the Import Data to Event field, select the event from PheedLoop you wish to sync information with
- Information from Swoogo will populate into PheedLoop’s Event Dashboard.
Syncing Swoogo and PheedLoop
Once Swoogo is set up in your Event Dashboard and you have an event to populate information in, you can start syncing between Swoogo and PheedLoop. For certain information such as sessions, a manual sync will need to be done to update the information. Other information such as registrations are automatically synced meaning you do not need to press full/partial sync each time a registration is made.
Please note, the process will take a few minutes to appear in the Event Dashboard and is not instantaneous. This applies to both manual and automatic syncing. The amount of information being synced will also impact the time required to complete the process.
Full Syncing
Full Syncing, as the name suggests, will sync all information from Swoogo into PheedLoop.
- From the Same Swoogo Integration page, navigate to Swoogo Events
- Next to your connected event, select Actions > Full Syncing
- Select Confirm
Please note, once a sync is triggered, any information in PheedLoop will be overwritten. For example, if you have edited details of a session, those edits will be overwritten with what is in Swoogo.
Partial Syncing
A partial sync lets you choose specific information to transfer from Swoogo, making it faster than a full sync.
- From the Same Swoogo Integration page, navigate to Swoogo Events
- Next to your connected event, select Actions > Partial Syncing
- Toggle on the Swoogo Registrant Types checkbox to sync Registration Categories.
- Toggle on the Swoogo Packages checkbox to sync Registration Tickets.
