How can I enable/disable Lead Retrieval Purchasing in the Exhibitor Portal?

Lead Retrieval is a great add-on for exhibitors to make the most out of the event experience. However, some events may wish to omit this feature for their events. Generally, we see three common approaches from event planners:

1. Allowing exhibitors to purchase Lead Retrieval directly through PheedLoop
2. Offering Lead Retrieval, but having exhibitors purchase it directly from the event planner rather than through PheedLoop
3. Disabling Lead Retrieval entirely for the event

This article will cover how to fulfill these three requirements for your event.

Allowing exhibitors to purchase Lead Retrieval directly through PheedLoop

For this scenario, there are no steps that need to be taken as the Lead Retrieval page is available by default. If the Lead Retrieval page is hidden, please ensure the Hide Lead Retrieval checkbox is toggled off in the Event Dashboard under Portals > Exhibitor > Exhibitor Portal.

Managing Purchases for Lead Retrieval directly

For Event Planners who wish to manage purchases for Lead Retrieval independently, the purchase button for Lead Retrieval can be hidden.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Portals > Exhibitor > Exhibitor Portal
2. Scroll down to Lead Retrieval Settings
3. Toggle on the Hide Lead Retrieval Purchase checkbox
4. We also recommend using the Lead Retrieval Text field to share how exhibitors can purchase Lead Retrieval.

Disabling Lead Retrieval

If your event is not using Lead Retrieval, we recommend hiding the Lead Retrieval page in the Exhibitor Portal. This removes any mention of the feature and helps avoid confusion or unnecessary attention.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Portals > Exhibitor > Exhibitor Portal
2. Scroll down to Pages
3. Toggle on the Hide Lead Retrieval checkbox

4. Select Save Changes
