How to Connect to Bambora for Payment Processing

Bambora is one of the many payment processors we support here at PheedLoop. Simply connect your Bambora account with PheedLoop and any payments made will be processed through Bambora.

Please note that it may take two to three business weeks for your organization to be configured to Bambora due to its onboarding process.

Please ensure that your Bambora account is configured to the currency of your choosing.

What you’ll need before connecting

The merchant ID of your account is all that is required to connect to Bambora. If you would like to retrieve this ID, you can do so from the Bambora website once you login.

  1. From the Bambora Dashboard, copy the Merchant ID at the top right corner of the page as shown in the screenshot above.
  2. Ensure that the Currency for your Bambora account is what your team intends to charge for.
    1. For example, if your organization is using Canadian currency, ensure the Bambora account is configured for CAD.

Once you have both accounted for, you will now want to complete the steps below to finish integrating Bambora  with PheedLoop.

Step 1 - Contact PheedLoop Support

Currently, connecting to Bambora requires some input from our development team. If you would like to use Bambora, please contact PheedLoop Support at support@pheedloop.com to ensure your request is being handled.

PheedLoop will contact Bambora to begin the onboarding process for your organization. As part of this process, a member from the Bambora support team will reach out to you in order to walk you through the Bambora system.

Please note that the onboarding process may take up to two weeks to be completed.

PheedLoop will also contact your team once Bambora integration has been added to your Event Dashboard.

Step 2 - Connecting Bambora

Once you have received notification that your Bambora account is ready, you may now proceed with connecting Bambora with PheedLoop as your payment processor.

  1. From the drop-down menu at the top right corner of your Dashboard, navigate to Settings > Integrations
  2. Scroll down to Financial Integrations
  3. Under Bambora, select Connect
  4. Under the Merchant ID field, enter the Merchant ID for your Bambora account
  5. Select Connect to Bambora

You will now be connected to Bambora. Please note that Step 2 is dependent on the completion of your Bambora’s onboarding process. If not completed, these steps may not work.
