Using NetForum with PheedLoop

Please note, use of this feature requires NetForum SSO integration to be included in your organization’s contract. This is a paid feature, for pricing information, please reach out to sales@pheedloop.com for more information.

NetForum is one of the many single sign-on integrations we support at PheedLoop. For organizations that make use of NetForum, the key advantage to this integration is the ability to login with their NetForum account.

Please note, PheedLoop Go! and PheedLoop OnSite! do not support SSO integrations.

Connecting to NetForum

  1. From the Event Dashboard, select your email on the top right corner and select Settings
  2. Navigate to Integrations
  3. Under NetForum, select Not Connected
  4. Under the NetForum Authorization Username field, enter the username for your NetForum account
  5. Under the NetForum Authorization Password field, enter the password for your NetForum account
  6. Under the NetForum Root URL field, enter the domain URL for your NetForum account
    1. Include the https prefix with the URL. For example https://members.naxyz.org
  7. Under the NetForum Login URL field, enter the URL to the page where users can login with their NetForum account
    1. Include the https prefix with the URL. For example http://members.naxyz.org/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx
  8. Under the NetForum Site Name field, enter your organization name that will be displayed when logging in with NetForum
  9. Select Submit

NetForum will now be connected to your PheedLoop account. You can now proceed to the next step of the article.

Configuring NetForum with the Event Dashboard

Event Administrators can decide where NetForum appears as a login option in the front end portals. Please review our Configuring your Single Sign-On Provider with PheedLoop article for more information.

Disconnecting NetForum

If your organization would like to swap out credentials you will need to remove the existing keys for your integration.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, select your email on the top right corner and select Settings
  2. Navigate to Integrations
  3. Under NetForum, select Connected
  4. Select Clear Keys

Connection with NetForum will now be disconnected from your PheedLoop account.
