Bulk Importing Tickets for Registration
Please note, this article covers the process for importing Tickets. For convenience, multiple tickets can be imported in the Event Dashboard without needing to create them manually.
- From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Registration > Tickets
- Above the Tickets table, select the upload button
- Select Download Template
The ticket template will now be downloaded onto your device.
- Open the Ticket template file
- Fill out the information outlined in the Headings in the Ticket Upload Template step below
- Save the document as a CSV file
- From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Registration > Tickets
- Above the Tickets table, select the upload button
- Select the Drag and drop some files here, or click to select files button to upload your template
- Select Submit
Headings in the Ticket Upload Template
code | This field is only necessary if you intend to edit a ticket. Enter the Ticket code under this column to edit their information. Ticket codes can be found by navigating to Registration > Tickets and selecting the download icon to the far right of the Create button. Leave this field blank to create new tickets. |
name | Enter the name of the ticket under this column. |
price | Enter the dollar amount attendees must pay to purchase this ticket. Add 0 under this field to make the ticket free. Do not leave this field blank or the import will display an error. |
description | Enter the description of the ticket under this column. |
private_code | Enter the codes an attendee needs to enter before they are allowed to purchase the ticket. Separate multiple codes with commas. |
quantity_available | Enter the number of tickets that can be purchased by attendees under this column. The ticket will no longer be available for purchase once the quantity has been sold. |
start_date | Enter the date the ticket will be available for purchase under this column. |
end_date | Enter the date the ticket will no longer be available for purchase under this column. |
start_time | Enter the time the ticket will become available for purchase under this column. |
end_time | Enter the time the ticket will no longer be available for purchase under this column. |
limit_per_order | Enter the number of tickets that can be purchased for each individual registration. |
minimum_per_order | Enter the minimum dollar amount an attendee needs to have in their cart before they can purchase this ticket. |
is_addon | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Add On Ticket checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_active | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Activate Ticket checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_private | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Private Ticket checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_protected | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Protected Ticket checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_waitlist_enabled | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Enable Waitlist checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_waitlist_notification_enabled | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Enable Waitlist Notifications checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_group_details_required | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Group Details Required checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_visible_unavailable | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Show Ticket When Unavailable checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_disabled_email_confirmation | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Disable Confirmation Email checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_virtual | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Virtual Ticket checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_member_only | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Member Only [API Based] checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
enforce_unique_purchase | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Enforce Unique Purchase checkbox. Enter False or leave blank to turn off this checkbox. |
is_disabled_email_confirmation | Enter True under this column to toggle on the Disable Confirmation |
break_1_quantity | Enter the number of copies of this ticket needed to be added in the cart to trigger the first ticket break. For more information on ticket breaks, please review our Using Ticket Breaks article. |
break_2_quantity | Enter the number of copies of this ticket needed to be added in the cart to trigger the second ticket break. |
break_3_quantity | Enter the number of copies of this ticket needed to be added in the cart to trigger the third ticket break. |
break_1_price | Enter the price of each ticket once the first ticket break has been triggered. |
break_2_price | Enter the price of each ticket once the second ticket break has been triggered. |
break_3_price | Enter the price of each ticket once the third ticket break has been triggered. |
email_whitelist | Enter the email domains that are allowed to purchase this ticket (e.g. @gmail.com). Emails that do not meet the whitelist will not be able to view the ticket. |
country_whitelist | Enter the names of the countries that are allowed to purchase this ticket. Users who are not part of the whitelisted countries will not be able to view the ticket. |
Registration_categories | Enter the category codes that this ticket will belong under. Category codes can be found from the Event Dashboard by navigating to Registration > Tickets and selecting the download icon to the far right of the Create button. The code will be under the registration_categories column of the CSV file. |
