Restricting Managers to their Booths in Exhibit Hall

By default, managers are able to access other exhibitors from the Virtual Portal. This behavior can be adjusted in the Event Dashboard so that any attendee with the Exhibitor tag will only be able to see exhibitors they are assigned as a manager for.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Experiences > Virtual > Settings
  2. Scroll down to Other Options
  3. Toggle on the Restrict Exhibit Hall Access checkbox
  4. Select Save Changes

This feature will now take effect for any attendees with the exhibitor tag.

Assigning the Exhibitor Tag to Attendees

As part of the Restrict Exhibit Hall Access feature, attendees will need to be assigned the Exhibitor tag for this feature to take effect. Please note that only the Exhibitor Tag possesses this feature. Other tags will not impact the setting.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Attendees > Attendees
  2. Select the attendee you wish to assign the tag to
  3. Scroll down to Tags
  4. Under the Connected Tags field, select the Exhibitor tag
  5. Select Save Changes

If the Exhibitor tag is not present in your event dashboard, simply create a new ticket titled “Exhibitor” and assign it to your attendees. Please note, exact spelling is required or else this will not work.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Attendees > Tags
  2. Above the Tags table, select Create
  3. Under the Name field, enter Exhibitor
  4. Select Save Changes
