Setting up Access Restrictions for the Virtual Portal
Access to the Virtual Portal can be configured from the Event Dashboard based on tags, tickets, and Membership Types. If configured, attendees will need to possess the prerequisite item before they can access the Virtual Portal. If they do not have the tag, ticket, or membership type, they will not be able to login into the Virtual Portal.
- From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Experiences > Virtual > Settings
- Scroll down to Access Restrictions
- Under the Ticket Access Restrictions field, select the ticket(s) you wish to use
- Under the Tag Access Restrictions field, select the tag(s) you wish to use
- Under the Membership Access Restrictions field, select the Membership Type(s) you wish to use

- Select Save Changes
Can I have restrictions for tags, tickets, and Membership Types at the same time?
Attendees only need to meet at least one of the requirements to access the virtual portal. There is no need to meet all three requirements simultaneously to access the Virtual Portal. This was intentionally done to avoid overcomplicating access while providing multiple means of authentication.
