Using Wicket with PheedLoop

Please note, use of this feature requires Wicket SSO integration to be included in your organization’s contract. This is a paid feature, for pricing information, please reach out to sales@pheedloop.com for more information.

Wicket is one of the many single sign-on integrations we support at PheedLoop. For organizations that make use of Wicket, the key advantage to this integration is the ability to login with their Wicket account.

Please note, PheedLoop Go! and PheedLoop OnSite! do not support SSO integrations. 

Connecting to Wicket

  1. From the Event Dashboard, select your email on the top right corner and select Settings

  1. Navigate to Integrations

  1. Scroll down to Single Sign On Integrations and under Wicket, select Not Connected

  1. Under the Wicket Client ID field, enter the Client ID for your Wicket account
  2. Under the Wicket Client Secret field, enter the Client Secret for your Wicket account
  3. Under the Wicket Authorize URL field, enter the authorize URL for your Wicket account
    1. Include the https prefix with the URL. For example https://members.naxyz.org
  4. Under the Wicket Access URL field, enter the Access URL for Wicket
    1. Include the https prefix with the URL. For example http://members.naxyz.org/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx
  5. Under the Wicket Profile URL field, enter your Profile URL for Wicket
  6. Select Submit

Wicket will now be connected to your PheedLoop account. When users are prompted to login to PheedLoop, a new button leading to the login page for Wicket. Once users login with their Wicket credentials, they will be logged into and can proceed in the portal. 

The following fields are populated within PheedLoop once Wicket Login is successful:

  • Email
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Title
  • Organization
  • User UUID (populated under the Internal Code field)
  • Membership Status

Configuring Wicket with the Event Dashboard

Event Administrators can decide where Wicket appears as a login option in the front end portals. Please review our Configuring your Single Sign-On Provider with PheedLoop article for more information.

Disconnecting Wicket

If your organization would like to swap out credentials you will need to remove the existing keys for your integration.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, select your email on the top right corner and select Settings
  2. Navigate to Integrations
  3. Under Wicket, select Connected
  4. Select Clear Keys
