Bulk Importing Registration Categories

For convenience, multiple Registration Categories can be imported in the Event Dashboard without needing to create them manually.

  1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Registration > Categories and select the upload button

  1. Select Download Template

The ticket template will now be downloaded onto your device.

  1. Open the Category template file
  2. Fill out the information outlined in the Headings in the Category Upload Template step below
  3. Save the document as a CSV file
  4. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Registration > Categories
  5. Above the Tickets table, select the upload button
  6. Select the Drag and drop some files here, or click to select files button to upload your template
  7. Select Submit

Headings in the Category Upload Template

code This field is only necessary if you intend to edit a category. Enter the Category code under this column to edit their information. Category codes can be found by navigating to Registration > Categories and selecting the download icon to the far right of the Create button. Leave this field blank to create new categories.
name Enter the name for the category under this column.
description Enter the description of the category under this column.
access_code Enter the codes an attendee needs to enter before they can access the category. Separate multiple codes with commas.
connected_tags Enter the codes of tags under this column to assign them to the category. Attendees will be assigned this tag upon successful registration. Tag codes can be found by navigating to Attendees > Tags and selecting the download icon to the far right of the Create button.
is_active Enter True under this column to toggle on the Active checkbox. By default, this value is set to true. 
is_hidden Enter True under this column to toggle on the Hidden checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
is_no_ticket Enter True under this column to toggle on the No Ticket Category checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
membership_tiers

Please note, this requires the Membership Management Module to use. Please contact sales@pheedloop.com to purchase this for your organization. Enter a Membership Type code under this column to assign to the category. Only accounts who are already assigned the Membership Type will be able to access the category. Separate multiple membership type codes with commas.


To acquire the code for a membership type, you will need to generate a Subscriptions Custom Report on the Membership Dashboard and ensure Membership Type Code is included under the Fields field.

enable_unique_email Enter True under this column to toggle on the Enforce Unique Emails checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
disable_group_checkout Enter True under this column to toggle on the Disable Group Checkout checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
enable_schedule_selection Enter True under this column toggle on the Enable Schedule Selection checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
enable_seat_selection Enter True under this column toggle on the Enable Seat Selection checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
require_sso Enter True under this column toggle on the Require SSO checkbox. By default, this value is set to false. Please note, this setting is only relevant if you are using an SSO integration with PheedLoop. Enabling this setting without an SSO integration may cause issues.
collect_organization Enter True under this column toggle on the Collect Organization checkbox. Enter false to disable this checkbox. By default, this value is set to true.
require_organization Enter True under this column toggle on the Require Organization checkbox. Enter false to disable this checkbox. By default, this value is set to true.
collect_title Enter True under this column toggle on the Collect Title checkbox. Enter false to disable this checkbox. By default, this value is set to true.
require_title Enter True under this column toggle on the Require Title checkbox. Enter false to disable this checkbox. By default, this value is set to true.
collect_address Enter True under this column toggle on the Collect Address checkbox. Enter false to disable this checkbox. By default, this value is set to true.

collect_address_fields

This column requires collect_address to be set to true to take effect. Enter any address fields to be shown during registration. Fields not included will not be present. This column affects the Collect Address Fields Override field.

require_valid_address This column requires collect_address to be set to true to take effect. Enter True under this column to toggle on the Require Valid Mailing Address checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
collect_designations Enter True under this column to toggle on the Collect Designations checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
collect_pronouns Enter True under this column to toggle on the Collect Pronouns checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
collect_dietary Enter True under this column to toggle on the Collect Dietary Restrictions checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
collect_accessibility Enter True under this column to toggle on the Collect Accessibility Requirements checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.

Enter True under this column to toggle on the Use Pre-Filled Organization List checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
is_member_only Please note this requires access to the Membership Dashboard to take effect. Please contact sales@pheedloop.com to purchase this for your organization. Enter True under this column to toggle on the Member Only [API based] checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
allow_gateway_card Enter True under this column to toggle on the Allow Card Payments checkbox. By default, this value is set to true.
allow_gateway_other Enter True under this column to toggle on the Allow Other Payments checkbox. By default, this value is set to true.
hide_promotion Enter True under this column to toggle on the Hide Promotion Code Field at Checkout checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
use_fixed_tax_percent Enter True under this column to toggle on the Use Fixed Tax Percent checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
tax_percent This column requires use_fixed_tax_percent to be set to true to take effect. Enter a number between 0 to 100 to charge a tax percentage on all purchases in registration. 
include_invoice_payment_links Enter True under this column to toggle on the Include Payment Links in Invoice checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
country_whitelist Enter the names of any countries to restrict access for. Registrants outside of the selected countries will be denied registration. Leave this field blank to allow all countries to register. 
disable_confirmation_emails This column requires is_no_ticket to be set to true to take effect. Enter True under this column to toggle on the Disable No Ticket Confirmation Emails checkbox. By default, this value is set to false.
success_show_badge Enter True under this column to toggle on the Show Badge Download checkbox. This setting will allow registrants to download their badge codes upon successful registration. By default this value is set to false.
success_show_invoice Enter True under this column to toggle on the Show Invoice Download checkbox. This setting will allow registrants to download their invoice upon a successful registration without a verified payment. By default this value is set to true.
success_show_receipt Enter True under this column to toggle on the Show Receipt Download checkbox. This setting will allow registrants to download their receipt upon a successful registration with a verified payment. By default this value is set to true.
success_show_ticket Enter True under this column to toggle on the Show Ticket Downloads checkbox. This setting will allow registrants to download their tickets upon a successful registration. By default this value is set to true.
use_total_ticket_breaks Enter True under this column to toggle on the Use Ticket Total for Breaks checkbox. This setting will allow all tickets to apply to ticket breaks. For more information, please review our Using Ticket Breaks article. By default this value is set to false.
allow_additional_purchases Enter True under this column to toggle on the Allow Additional Purchases checkbox. This setting allows attendees to purchase additional tickets from the Member Portal. By default this value is set to true.
