I don’t need registration categories. How can I create a single registration path for all my tickets?

Some events may call for a simpler registration where multiple registration paths are not a requirement. In this scenario, it is best to leave only one registration category in the Event Website. Doing so will omit the category selection step entirely.

This article will review how to configure your registration flow so that the category selection step is omitted and that all tickets are available in a single registration path.

Step 1: Configuring a Single Registration Category

The first step is to remove all categories 

1. From the Event Dashboard navigate to Registration > Categories and select a category you would like to delete

2. Above the Categories table, select Actions > Delete

3. Select Confirm

Repeat this process until you are left with the category you wish to use. You may also select the Create button to build your own registration category.

Step 2: Assigning All Tickets to the Single Registration Category

In order for registrations to be available, at least one ticket must be assigned to the category. If a category has no tickets then registrations cannot be made for your event. 

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Registration > Tickets and select all of the checkboxes for the tickets 

2. Above the Tickets table, select Actions > Edit

2. Select the Registration Category checkbox and select the category you wish to assign the tickets to

3. Select Save Changes

Once these steps are completed and all of your tickets have been assigned to your single registration category, your registrants will be able to see and select from all of your tickets during the registration process and the category selection step will be omitted. 

If you would like to remove the tickets step entirely, you can configure the category to be a No Ticket Category. Enabling this option will bypass the tickets step entirely in the registration process.
