Understanding Event App Settings in the Dashboard

PheedLoop Go! offers a wide range of settings that can be customized directly through the Event Dashboard. To access these settings, navigate to Experiences > Mobile App > Settings from the Event Dashboard. These configurations allow you to tailor the mobile app experience to align with your event’s design and needs. Ensure the Basic Settings of Your Event App are Configured

The Options settings manage the functionality available in the Event App. Toggle the checkboxes on or off to control which features are active in the Event App. This article won't cover every setting, but it will explain the basic ones to help you understand what can be disabled in the Event App.

While there are many options available for the Mobile App, be sure to consider the following key settings:

Messaging Enabled This option allows attendees to send private messages to each other from the Event App. Please note, other forms of messaging such as Lobby Chat, Group Chats, will still be available if configured.
Send Push Notifications for Attendee Messages Enable this option to allow push notifications to be sent to attendees when someone sends them a message.
Send Email Notifications for Attendee Messages Enable this option to allow email notifications to be sent to attendees when someone sends them a message.
Enable App Access Enable this option if you would like your event app's landing page to be enabled and would like your event to be visible in the mobile event app. 
Disable Profile Editing  Enable this option if you would like to restrict the ability to edit the profile from the attendee profile page in your event app.

Once you have configured your settings, select Save Changes to save your progress.
