Setting up Sponsorship Tiers

Sponsorship tiers help showcase your event sponsors in a way that suits their level of support. The Event Dashboard includes default tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze, but you can easily rename or customize these as you wish.

Typically, tiers are based on the sponsor's contribution amount, with added perks to encourage higher contributions. These perks could include VIP experiences, networking opportunities, or increased brand visibility throughout your event.

Tiers will be visible in the Event Website and PheedLoop Go!. In the Event Website, sponsors will appear under their respective tier and both can be reordered in the Event Dashboard. Tiers will also appear in PheedLoop Go! as a tag under the sponsor’s name.

While implementing tiers, it is recommended to have all designs and information for your sponsors uploaded for a smoother user experience.

Creating Tiers

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Tiers
2. Above the Tiers table, select Create
3. Under the Name field, enter the name of the tier
4. Under the Description field, enter any internal notes you may wish to include with the tier
   1. Descriptions will not appear to attendees.
5. Under the Color field, enter the hex color code you wish to assign to the tier
   1. This will impact the background color of the tier in PheedLoop Go!. This setting will not impact the Event Website.
6. Select Save Changes

Bulk Uploading Tiers

Multiple tiers can be uploaded into the Event Dashboard simultaneously.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Tiers and above the Tiers table, select the upload button 

2. Select Download Template

The tiers template will now be downloaded onto your device.

1. Open the tiers template file
2. Fill out the columns outlined in the Headings in the Tiers Upload Template step below
3. Save the document as a CSV file
4. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Tiers
5. Above the Tiers template, select the upload button 
6. Select the Drag and drop some files here, or click to select files button to upload your template
7. Select Submit

Reordering Sponsors within a Tier

Sponsors respect the order in which they appear in the Event Dashboard. To change the order in which sponsors appear within a tier, you will need to reorder them in the Event Dashboard. For example, if you would like one sponsor to appear before another, order that sponsor above on the list. That sponsor will then appear before the other one.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Sponsors
2. Above the Sponsors table, select Actions > Re-Order
3. Rearrange the sponsors in the order you wish for them to appear in the Event Website and PheedLoop Go!
4. Select Save Changes

Reordering Tiers

Tiers are ordered based on how they appear in the event dashboard. Any changes to the order will impact the tier list in the Event Website.

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Tiers
2. Above the Tiers table, select Actions > Re-Order
3. Rearrange the tiers as you wish
4. Select Save Changes

The Event Website will now display the tiers in the updated order.

What happens to Sponsors that are not assigned to a Tier?

Sponsors without a tier will still appear in the Event Website under the “Other Sponsors” category. This term can be rewritten into something else through PheedLoop’s translation feature. For more information, please review our Translating Text, Button, Phrases, and Labels article.

Deleting Tiers

1. From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Tiers
2. Select the checkbox of the tier you wish to delete
3. Above the Tiers table, select Actions > Delete
4. Select Confirm
