Event App Sponsorship Opportunities

When using the PheedLoop Mobile Event App, event planners are recommended to highlight their important sponsors and partners. There are many ways to do this with the default functionality in PheedLoop! To learn how to upload Sponsors and to highlight Sponsors, please review the following guidelines.

Co-brand Default Mobile App Images

Within the event app, there are two default mobile app images that are typically used to highlight the conference or the organization. In many cases, event planners can consider co-branding these assets to highlight their sponsors.

Navigate to the Experiences > Mobile App > Settings
Under the Home Banner Image select Choose File to upload an image for the Home Banner. The recommended size is 750 x 350 JPEG.
Under the Menu Banner Image select Choose File to upload an image for the Menu Banner The recommended size is 350 x 100 JPEG.
1. These two assets are shown when clicking into the home page of the event app and the top left corner of the event app.
Select Save Changes

App Splash Screen Sponsor Image

The App Splash Screen Sponsor image is a newer feature that allows you to highlight an image when an attendee opens up their event app for the very first time. This image will also show up whenever you open the event app after closing it out. This is a highly valued piece of real estate that should be utilized to highlight your best sponsors and partners.

Navigate to Experiences > Mobile App > Settings
Upload an image under App Splash Screen Sponsor Image. We recommend a 9:16 Aspect Ratio such as 1080 by 1920 JPEG.
Toggle on the Enable App Sponsor Splash Screen checkbox
Under the Sponsor Splash Screen Image Duration field, enter the number of seconds the App Sponsor Splash Screen will appear for when opening the event

App Banner Sponsor Image

The App Banner Sponsor image is another feature that allows you to highlight a single sponsor on the bottom left corner of the menu page opened up on the Event App. This is a high valued branding opportunity to highlight a single sponsor in an area that is commonly used by attendees. To use this, please review the following:

Navigate to Experiences > Mobile App > Settings
Select your sponsor under the App Banner Sponsor field.
Toggle on the the Enable App Sponsored Banner checkbox to enable the App Banner Sponsor
Select Save Changes

The Sponsor's Logo will now appear on the left hand side of PheedLoop Go! on the side menu below the logout button.

Dedicated Individual Event App Page Sponsor

Each page in the event app can now have its own individual sponsor! This is an incredible feature that allows you to highlight a sponsor for a certain number of seconds at the top of the event app when you first open up the page. This image will only show up briefly before it's hidden again.

Navigate to Experiences > Mobile App > Pages
Select the page you would like to add a sponsor in
Under the Sponsor field, select the sponsor you wish to display
Under the Sponsor Duration field, enter the number of seconds the sponsor will appear for when opening the page
Select Save Changes

Ensure the sponsor you selected has all three assets uploaded inside of the Sponsor’s Design settings including Logo, Thumbnail, and Banner. The Sponsor will not be displayed properly on PheedLoop Go! if they do not have a logo attached. For instructions, please review our Customizing and Using the Sponsor Portal article.

Gamification Code Sponsor

Each gamification code that is redeemed in the Event App can now also have its own individual sponsor! The sponsor branding will show immediately after the code is redeemed when using our gamification system.

Navigate to Gamification > Codes
Select the code you wish to adjust from the list
Under the Sponsor field, select the sponsor you wish to display
Select Save Changes

The Sponsor’s banner image will now appear whenever an attendee redeems the gamification code.

Session Specific Sponsor

Within the Session/Schedule page of the Event App, attendees are able to click and review upcoming sessions. You are able to associate a rotating banner to an individual session that highlights any sponsors selected. To do this, please review the following:

Navigate to Sessions > Sessions
Scroll down to Other Details
Under the Sponsors field, select the sponsors you wish to assign to the session
1. Sponsors will be shown in a rotating carousel.
Select Save Changes

The Sponsor’s logo will now be displayed along with the session.

Linked Page Types

A feature that Announcements hold is the ability to link sessions, exhibitors, or sponsors in the event app. If linked, the attendee will be able to select View in the event app’s notification list to open the corresponding page.

From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Communications > Announcements
Above the Announcements table, select Create
Scroll down to Delivery
Toggle on Push Notifications Enabled
Scroll down to Visibility
Toggle on Show in Event App
Scroll down to Event App Settings
Under Linked Page Type, select Sponsor
Select the corresponding Sponsor that will appear as a new field
Select Save Changes

Sponsor Carousel

The Sponsor Carousel will display your selection of sponsors as a rotating carousel on the Home page.

Displaying the Sponsor Widget on PheedLoop Go!

From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Experiences > Mobile App > App Layout
Click and hold the Sponsors widget from the list
Drag the Sponsors widget to your desired sport on the App Layout Preview
Select Save Layout

The Sponsor widget will now appear in PheedLoop Go!

Assigning Sponsors to the Sponsor Widget

From the Event Dashboard, navigate to Sponsors > Sponsors
Select the Sponsors you wish to display
Toggle on the Show in Event Carousels checkbox
Select Save Changes

For events making use of carousels, sponsor logos are a requirement in order for carousels to display them properly. For instructions, please review our Customizing and Using the Sponsor Portal article.

Using the Sponsor Carousel on PheedLoop OnSite

PheedLoop OnSite is also capable of using the Sponsor Carousel. As long as the Show in Event Carousels checkbox is toggled on for the Sponsor, they will appear at the bottom of the app.
